Fees
Securing a competent defence can be expensive. How much it will cost really depends on your case. During an initial consultation, I will learn more about your case and provide an initial estimate of the fees for conducting your defence.
Clients may choose fees on an hourly or flat-rate basis. One option might be more cost-effective for you depending on your personal circumstances and the nature of your case; we can discuss which is best for you.
Legal Aid
I appreciate that many persons’ financial circumstances prevent them from retaining a lawyer privately. I strongly believe that finances should not be a barrier to receiving a strong defence. I accept contracts from Legal Aid BC on a case-by-case basis. If you have been approved funding from Legal Aid BC, feel free to request consultation, and I will meet with you to discuss whether I can take on your case.
